And really, it is true. What else can I say? All has been already told in other reviews…

I have the book for many years, and during these years, I read it 8 times already. And you know what is funny? Each time I read it again, I discover a new world of wisdom that is hidden in this book and that I somehow missed before.

I believe that as I am evolving in my spiritual live, the book is also evolving. And I think, this is what makes the book so great.

I am pissed that this card did not come with a case. Come on, SD cases sell for a penny on Ebay, how much money did the manufacturer save by not including a case, less than a penny. But it’s a major inconvenience for me, now I have to buy a case for this card which is a spare and won’t be in the camera. Transcend just lost a customer, I hope it was worth the penny.

Excelsior Gourmet Gift Basket

I bought this vacuum cleaner, and had it shipped to my girlfriend. When it arrived, she called to say it needed to be assembled. I said you are on your own. Much to my surprise, she and her her 7 year old son were able to put it together (a week later, so much for two day shipping) and it worked great. When I got there, she handed me the extra parts, a couple of the nuts were not on the bolts, she didn’t read the instructions, which I did and found them very helpful. We have new carpet, and the bag was so full it packed the intake, the instructions mention that new carpet will fill the bag. Once the bag was changed, and the passage to the bag was cleared, it worker really well. the price was right, hope it gets a lot of use.

We have a new Chihuahua puppy and this gate is great It looks great and is very functional and easy to set up and use. Keeps the puppy in and allows you to easaly step over it. I would highly recomend it.

The Catcher in the Rye is a great book that caught my attention right from the beginning. Holden Caulfield, the main character, has trouble staying in school without being expelled. He went from school to school, unsuccessful at each one. At his latest prep school, Pencey Prep, he has an annoying, self-centered roommate who prioritizes his social life above all else. With no roommate to support him, Holden felt he had nobody to talk to that understood him. He finally got kicked out, due to his lack of motivation which led him to receive bad grades. He decided to leave Pencey Prep earlier than they expected him to and to stay in his home city of New York for awhile. It is in New York that Holden experiences situations that change his life. Despite his high level of independence, Holden’s desperation for companionship is taking over him. He shows this by calling a stranger at midnight with the hopes of interacting with someone. He is also trying to flirt with older ladies at a bar. You have to read the book to find out exactly what he goes through.

I would definitely recommend The Catcher in the Rye to anyone who likes reading. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars because it gripped me in the beginning and never lost my attention. Despite the story lasting around 2 days, J.D Salinger was able to keep it moving constantly. It really allows you to understand Holden and his unique perspective of the world.

‘this product is a lot of fun to use. I think it lives up to its reputation although nothing is perfect and you cant keep everyone happy. It has a lot of the same features that the iPhone does but it’s not a phone. It is wifi enabled so you can do your email. One problem is that your wifi is not available or is having security problems then, you can’t access any of the apps..specifically those that are tied into the web. Of course, there are apps you can use, in which you have at your fingertips….games to play, music to listen to, videos to watch that you don’t need wifi access. The first extra I bought was a decent case, well worth the money to protect it. The case allows me to stand it on it’s side to watch videos and movies, and is made so it’s doesn’t slide around. The screen protector is like having a matted glass over a picture, and helps keep the fingerprints from being such a pain. I ordered this after watching my friend having fun with his, I had to get me one, however, being I already have an old one, I had to give it away my old one to a friend, I thought I would stick with Apple and get the Touch. It is a great tiny computer. It does live up to expectations that Apple has touted. I am mainly a music lover that totally loves the iPod music setup, but I am starting to really like the applications also. Apple has almost what seems an endless amount of apps to choose from and I am sure that more are on the way.

Even before there was a name for the civil rights movement of the 1960’s, there was Medgar Evers, perhaps the first casualty of the movement. June 12, 1963, the very night that President John Kennedy made his landmark speech to the nation about equality of the races and his administration’s pledge to the basic rights of all people, Evers took a mortal hit in his back outside his home in Jackson, Miss., from a bullet fired out of racism and powered by hate. Nearly 30 years later, after two mistrials with hung juries, Evers’ suspected killer, avowed bigot and hate-mongerer Byron de la Beckwith, faces his third trial set up by an idealistic prosecutor, acted with restrained emotionality but an unshakeable sense of justice by Alec Baldwin. As Evers’ widow, Whoppi Goldberg brings a sense of majestic class to the lady who never gave up in her own quest for justice. And James Woods is nothing less than superlative in his portrayal of the accused, and Woods holds nothing back in projecting the cockiness, the poisonous racism and lethal hatred the real character apparently carried for most of his life. Director Rob Reiner treats us here to a lesson in history that perhaps has not given Evers his just due as a pioneer in the march for civil rights, and Reiner treats this very serious topic with respect, dignity, sincerity and commitment. In real life, Beckwith died in prison and with him hopefully went one more voice for hate and division. But, because it took nearly three decades to bring Beckwith to justice, “Ghosts of Mississippi” asks the subtle question if justice delay isn’t also justice denied. The film is a magnificent achievement!

This watch connects quicker to satelite than the old model, my old model quit working most likely from battery wearing out, hopefully this model will last longer

The Omron HJ-112 pedometer is both inexpensive and accurate, probably more than I would have expected for the reasonable (just over $20) price tag. It’s relatively easy to set up, and it can be used either clipped to a belt or just dropped into a pocket. It also functions as an accurate watch. I’ve counted 100 steps a couple of times to check on its accuracy. Both times, it was within five steps of the 100 I had counted on my own. I could probably even make it more accurate by rechecking the length of my stride, which is one of the factors that determines its count.

The only downside is that it can’t be switched off without removing the battery. That is, once you’ve put the battery in and set it up, it stays on — like a watch — until the battery runs down. Of course, it could last for a year or more. Who knows?

The pedometer is a fun way to keep track of how far you’ve walked. If you’re trying to lose weight or just stay fit, why not pick one up, drop it into your pocket and see how far you’re going?
